This movie was a truly inspirational thought, Lurleen was speaking to another person in the industry about a script he wanted to purchase that needed a huge re-write and had wanted her to collaborate on that project with him. When Lurleen simply said no I think I will write my own. So as she sat at the computer hours later the entire concept for Napayshni came to her in what we believe was an Inspirational Thought. Lurleen then developed that concept even more and the rest, as they say, is history.

 

So the team set about writing the storyline or the synopsis as it's known in the industry, and then the script. Lurleen and her team are  still working on the script but it is really coming together perfectly as they  will be integrating many of the old cultures and rituals of Native American Nations into this movie as they collaborate the two worlds of Native Americans and Non Native in this story which will bring you realism, action, adventure, heartache, love and of course some comedy. NAPAYSHNI  is originally a Sioux Name which is now given to many babies in many different Native American Families as it means Strength or Courage which Lurleen sees that as a trait in all indigenous people and its something that we all in life need to find at times. The lead role in this movie is called Napayshni because of the journey he must take that will push him to the boundaries in life that he never envisaged he would have to face.

 

Already attached to this production even at this early stage, is  Line producer Chris Ranney who is very well known and respected in the industry, Chris is from New Mexico.  Also attached is in our estimation one of the very best Cinematographers in the world of Entertainment  Juan Carlos Gil. You may not know his name BUT you will know his work as he is the cinematographer on the infamous Netflix show NARCOS.  Production will be in New Mexico and Montana and although the synopsis only states Two Native American Tribes the script contains more and the production team will be collaborating with a number of Native American Nations so that all in these regions are part of this movie and their reality is shown to the world.
